Let’s be better 2025: Photos and seminar recording

We thank you once again for taking part in the hybrid seminar “Let’s Be Better – Including People with Disabilities in Sports” on December 4. The outcome would not have been the same without all the participants, speakers and co-partners.

The seminar brought together 104 participants, both on site at Hanaholmen and online, with international participation from across borders.

The program featured 9 experienced speakers, including para-athletes, professionals and leaders, who shared perspectives and concrete examples on how sports can become more inclusive, accessible and equitable.

Inspiring Moments and Feedback

Let’s Be Better 2025 was marked by a warm atmosphere, meaningful discussions, and a strong sense of connection. Participants highlighted not only the high quality of the speakers and program, but also the feeling of openness, inspiration, and shared purpose throughout the day:

Resources for Action: Materials for Adapted Physical Activity and Parasports

As part of Let’s Be Better 2025, we highlight practical resources that support inclusion in adapted physical activity and parasports. Through the project, Finlands Svenska Idrott has developed materials that offer concrete tools and inspiration for creating more accessible and inclusive sports environments.

The materials are available in Swedish and are especially useful for sports clubs, coaches and organizations working with adapted physical activity and parasports.
